I came up with the “sanders helper” because I was a painter and had to sand and finish outdoor deck. I was on my knees sanding so much so that my knees and back would get sore. I knew there had to be a better way to sand. Since all outdoor decks have warped boards my “sanders helper” can sand while one is standing up saving knees and backs. ”Sanders helper” also saves time and labor. Using a floor sander can sand the deck flat but hits the high spots not the middle of the boards unless you sand the boards way down.

An apparatus for mounting one or two handheld type orbital thereto is described to permit a user to sand a floor surface from a standing position while moving the mounted sander(s) to and fro by way of a broom handle extending from the apparatus. Typically, the apparatus includes one fixed mount and one moveable mount. Each mount is configured to facilitate attachment to an orbital sander. The moveable mount can be placed and secured in one of two positions: A first position that centers a single sander in line with the handle and a second position wherein the fixed mount is located to one side of the handle and the moveable mount is secured essentially an equal distance on the other side of the handle.



This is our breakthrough model. This has two orbital sanders attached to the device. If one wasn't enough for you to get the job done quickly, adding the second oribtal sander will most definitely cut your work time in half. What's even better? This is the only one on the market.



How to use



Sanders Helper is a way to sand decks and floors using random orbital sanders. To use Sanders Helper first turn Sanders Helper so that you can slide a random orbital sander in to one or both brackets from the side. You can adjust the brackets to use one or two random orbital sanders. Tighten the sanders into the brackets using the Velcro straps. Turn the sanders on then turn the Sanders Helper over with the handle up, plug the cords from the sanders into the outlets on the handle with the switch in the off position. You can hang the extra cord from the sanders on the Velcro strap on the handle. Now plug the outlets into the extension cord. When ready to use simply switch on the outlets, the sanders will start and you will be ready to sand. Using two sanders saves time, money, and your knees because Sanders Helper will do most of the sanding while you are standing. Don’t forget the sand paper.
